Industrial Innovations for a Sustainable Fuels Future

Industrial Innovations for a Sustainable Fuels Future

A net-zero fuels showcase event, jointly hosted by the Translational Energy Research Centre and the AMRC at the University of Sheffield.

The development of zero carbon aviation fuels presents an economic opportunity for the whole supply chain.

The UK is uniquely placed to build on these opportunities, and the facilities at the University of Sheffield offer essential translational capabilities which will enable zero carbon fuels to become a reality.

Hosted jointly by the University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC), the Translational Energy Research Centre (TERC) and Sustainable Aviation Fuels Innovation Centre (SAF-IC), this free event will showcase the challenges, potential solutions and ambitions of the future fuels network, as well as the technical advancements needed to get there.

This event will feature talks from Boeing UK and Ireland Sustainability Director Steven Gillard, leading SMEs and experts from the University of Sheffield, as well as a tour of some of the most cutting-edge SAF facilities the UK has to offer.

Join us to discuss the journey to a zero-carbon fuels future, and discover how the University of Sheffield can support businesses and R&D of any kind through its world-class facilities.
